About Feline P.A.W.S. Rescue of the North State
Feline P.A.W.S. Rescue of the North State is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 2015. We are a sanctuary dedicated to special needs cats who have nowhere else to go.
Many of these cats are born with medical conditions or disabilities, or have been overlooked by traditional rescues. Here, they are given a safe, loving home for life.

Meet Dr. Nina Akana — Our Sanctuary Veterinarian
We are blessed to work with dedicated mobile veterinarian, Dr. Nina Akana, who visits the sanctuary monthly to provide specialized medical care for our unique kitties. Her compassionate support helps ensure our cats receive the attention and treatment they need to live safe, comfortable lives.
